I'd get out of PALM in a heartbeat - the Pre will be on Verizon as well, but Verizon's going all-in on the Google/Motorola Droid. The hype on that will be enormous, as it may well be the first legit iPhone killer out there.

Palm frittered away amazing brand equity and first-mover advantage when they could have been going toe-to-toe with the Blackberry line, but when Apple created the market for consumer smartphones, Palm waited just a bit too late.
